Last winter I decided to invest in a new self tacking jib and gennaker for our Linjett 33. We´ve been very pleased with the sails and the service from UK Sailmakers in Stockholm, so for the next season I ordered a new mainsail.
As with the self tacking jib I decided to go with X-Drive Carbon for the mainsail. Further I opted for two reefs and full-length battens.
Delivery of the new mainsail is planned for March according to the order confirmation from UK Sailmakers. That´s well ahead of May when we plan to launch Festina Lente3 for the 2025 season.
Below is a picture of our old mainsail that was brand new way back in 2009.
