Finishing the winter boat cover

Sunday morning started with lots of rain. I waited patiently for the sun that was supposed to come. And it did. After the nine o’clock coffee I went down to the boat club, raining had stopped and the sun was shining from a clear blue sky.

Beautiful autumn weather

I had two things on my todo list:

  1. Check the batteries.
  2. Finish the covering of the boat.

The solar cell was having a good time in the sun gathering energy for the batteries. Not that much sun was needed, the batteries were already full.

Most of the boat was covered since many weeks back, what needed to be done was close off fore and aft. Before I closed off fore and aft I took the time to enjoy the view, it will be at least five months until I can start thinking of removing the boat cover again.

Now the boat is fully covered
